Our Sangiovese grapes are sourced from our friends the Chalmers family vineyard in Colbinabbin, Heathcote. We use around 40% whole bunches in our Sangiovese ferments and use indigenous yeast. We mature the wine in seasoned oak barrels for around 8 months before bottling. Flavours of cherry and red currants with notes of earthy tobacco and spice.
